    1893 Quarter, PR68
    Colorful High-Grade Type Coin

1893 25C PR68 PCGS. For the connoisseur of toned proof coinage, this amazing quarter is a true prize. The surfaces are as fresh and carefully preserved as a collector could want. Every design element is boldly rendered with full details, without a single indication of weakness on either side. Colorful rainbow toning at the rims shifts to green-gold over the interior mirrors and frosted portrait and eagle. The contrast between the devices and the fields is immediately obvious to the observer, even though PCGS did not label it a Cameo proof. Population: 4 in 68, 0 finer (8/13).
