    Description

    1895 Quarter, Sharp PR66
    Picturesque Obverse Toning
Green CAC, Old Green Label Holder

1895 25C PR66 PCGS. CAC. A razor-sharp Premium Gem 1895 proof with mirrored fields and incredible old-time toning. The picturesque obverse displays almost unimprovable color in concentric rings of sun-gold, mint-green, ocean-blue and lavender around a champagne interior. The reverse is more deeply toned in blended olive-green, lavender, and gold hues. Both sides show modest contrast, although the obverse is more prominent. There is a microscopic mark in the right obverse field that limits the grade. CAC-endorsed in an old green label holder. Population: 19 in 66, 16 finer; CAC: 6 in 66, 13 finer (2/16).
