    1895 Quarter, PR66
    Beautifully Toned, Gold CAC Label

1895 25C PR66 PCGS. Gold CAC. The proof 1895 Barber quarter is not particularly difficult to locate in an absolute sense, but high-grade pieces with the level of eye appeal this coin possesses are. The obverse showcases beautifully intermingled peripheral hues of violet-red, lemon-gold, sea-green, and royal-blue around a lavender-gray center, while the reverse is awash in ocean-blue and lavender color with hints of gold around the borders. The design elements are struck to full definition, completing the simply incredible visual appeal. The fact that CAC, by awarding this coin a gold label, deemed it worthy of an even finer grade, makes it all the more desirable. Population: 20 in 66, 15 finer (6/14).(Registry values: N2998)
