Description
1895 Barber Quarter, PR68 Cameo
None Certified Finer
1895 25C PR68 Cameo PCGS. CAC. The 1895 proof issues will
always offer an added bit of cachet due to their association with
the legendary proof Morgan dollar issue of the year. Fortunately,
they are also well-produced pieces in their own right, as this
marvelous, sharply contrasted coin shows. The surfaces offer an
essentially black-and-white appearance save at the rims, which
feature a hint of champagne color. The amply frosted portrait
verges on a Deep Cameo designation, with its intense surrounding
mirrors. As the grade demands, the sharply struck surfaces are
virtually distraction-free, putting this piece near the top of the
certified populations. Population: 3 in 68 Cameo, 0 finer
(8/11).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 242A, PCGS# 85681, Greysheet# 5472)
