    Description

    Superb Gem 1897 Barber Quarter

1897 25C PR67 PCGS. The obverse portrait is richly frosted, the fields are deeply mirrored on both sides. This is an interestingly toned example with a bisecting swath of silver-gray patina over the obverse and sprays of tan iridescence scattered around the reverse. Neither side reveals any bothersome hairlines or contact marks.
    From the W.E. Boggs Collection.
