Description
Splendid Proof 1898 Barber Quarter, PR68 Deep Cameo NGC
1898 25C PR68 Deep Cameo NGC. This lovely example is earmarked for inclusion in the finest proof type collection. Of course, with smooth, virtually perfect surfaces, this coin would also fit nicely into an advanced Barber Quarter collection. The devices are heavily frosted and rise powerfully above the glassy fields. Every feature is fully detailed, and there is a little light golden iridescence on the reverse. Truly a wonderful representative of this 1890s proof delivery.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 242D, PCGS# 95684, GSID# 5482)
