    Exquisite PR68 1898 Quarter

    1898 25C PR68 NGC. CAC. An exquisitely preserved, dramatically toned Superb Gem with both sides showing hints of contrast through the patina. The obverse is sharply divided between the green-gold color of the upper right half and the blue, violet, and orange shadings present at lower left, while the reverse is concentrically toned with light blue-green at the rims with a fade through cerulean and violet to a pale peach center. Census: 19 in 68, 1 finer (6/09).(Registry values: N4719)
