Stunning 1898 Barber Quarter, PR 68 Cameo NGC
1898 25C PR 68 Cameo NGC. This coin's appearance almost defies belief for an 1890s issue. Both sides display bold cameo contrast that is undiminished in intensity by the swirl of haziness along the lower left obverse rim. The devices are powerfully impressed with complete definition over every feature. In addition to having been produced with great care, this coin was also well preserved since the time it left the Mint. There is not a single hairline or contact mark of note and the surfaces approach technical perfection. An awe-inspiring Superb Gem.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 242D, PCGS# 5684, GSID# 5480)
