Impressive Multicolor Toning
1899 25C PR67 NGC. The 1899 proof Barber quarter boasts a
nominal mintage of 846 pieces, but few examples can match the
appeal of this delightful Superb Gem. The design elements are
sharply detailed and no mentionable flaws are evident, but the
outstanding feature of this coin is the spectacular iridescent
toning. Shades of green and lavender dominate the obverse, while
the reverse displays vivid hues of blue and greenish-gold. Census:
