Description
1900 25C PR65 NGC. This striking piece exhibits deeply mirrored fields, and slight lilac toning on the perimeter of the obverse. The details are fully struck and there are only a couple of minor contact marks on the obverse. Although not generally considered scarce, only 912 specimens were struck this year. In The Complete Guide to Barber Quarters, David Lawrence writes that he believes Gems are presently (1994) underpriced.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 242F, PCGS# 5686, GSID# 5486)
