    1901 Barber Quarter, PR65
One of Two Deep Cameo Proofs Known

1901 25C PR65 Deep Cameo PCGS. Amazingly, just two 1901 proof quarters have achieved the Deep Cameo designation by either service -- this Gem example, and a Superb PR67 Deep Cameo PCGS coin. NGC has certified no Ultra Cameo proofs of the issue in any grade. The present coin is intensely mirrored with frost-white devices and a thin veil of clear gold toning throughout the fields. Blue and amber-gold accents appear at the borders. With only the two coins in Deep Cameo format available, we expect spirited competition for this decidedly rare appearance. Population: 1 in 65 Deep Cameo, 1 finer (6/15).(Registry values: P1)

    Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 95687)

    Weight: 6.25 grams

    Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
