    1901 Quarter Dollar, PR67 Cameo
    Nearly a Deep Cameo

1901 25C PR67 Cameo PCGS. CAC. This is a brilliant, dramatically contrasted Superb Gem with striking sharpness and remarkable preservation. The 1901 proof is popular for type purposes, but high-end Cameo examples such as this are rare, particularly with CAC endorsement, which is increasingly becoming a major consideration among Registry Set holders. PCGS reports only three Deep Cameos in all grades, two of which are PR67s. The Cameo population is as follows: 10 in 67 (2 in 67+) Cameo, 2 finer. CAC: 14 in 67, 3 finer (11/17).
