Toned 1901 Quarter, PR67, One Finer at PCGS
1901 25C PR67 PCGS. CAC. This splendidly toned Superb Gem boasts lateral obverse toning bands in varying shades of blue and pinkish-gold, the latter color prevailing throughout most of the central reverse. The strike is better than usual but not yet full, the usual problem area on the reverse the culprit. Only one coin is certified finer at PCGS (3/11).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 242G, PCGS# 5687, GSID# 5489)
