    Description

    1902 Barber Quarter, PR66 Cameo
    Rare in Any Cameo Grade

1902 25C PR66 Cameo PCGS. CAC. This spectacular Premium Gem proof shows an unusual amount of mint frost on the devices for a 1902 proof, creating bold cameo contrast with the deeply mirrored fields. The unmarked surfaces show just a hint of pale gold toning. Several obverse stars and localized portions of the eagle's body and talons are weakly struck; weak strikes are more prominent on proofs of this period than those of the decade before. Population: 4 in 66 Cameo, 5 finer. CAC: 2 in 66, 2 finer (11/17).
Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 2/2013), lot 3790.(Registry values: N2998)

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 242H, PCGS# 85688)

    Weight: 6.25 grams
