    Gem Proof 1903 Barber Quarter
    Darkly Toned Cameo Specimen

1903 25C PR65 Cameo PCGS. CAC. The rich mint frost of the devices contrasts boldly with the deeply mirrored fields of this remarkable Gem, culminating in the coveted Cameo designation from PCGS. Few darkly toned coins show this kind of cameo effect, but the contrast is readily apparent, despite the layer of dark green, violet, and lavender patina that blankets the surfaces of both sides. Eye appeal is fantastic. Population: 15 in 65 (2 in 65+) Cameo, 29 finer (11/12).

Thanks to Heritage I realized a handsome profit for my coin submissions and intend to send most of the remainder of my collection to Heritage Auction Galleries for future auctions.
