    Description

Conditionally Scarce 1903 Quarter in Proof 66 Cameo

1903 25C PR66 Cameo PCGS. There is not a single hint of toning on either the obverse or the reverse of this awe-inspiring Gem. As such, one can fully appreciate the manner in which sharp, frosty devices contrast with fully reflective fields. The 1903 Barber Quarter is not particularly rare as either a business strike (9.6 million pieces produced) or a proof (755 specimens struck), at least not in an absolute sense. At the present grade level, however, the '03-P is rare with just six coins graded PR66 Cameo and a mere four finer at PCGS (1/03).
