    1904 Quarter, Contrasted PR66+ Cameo

1904 25C PR66+ Cameo NGC. This pristine Premium Gem proof 1904 quarter shows much reflectivity in the fields and a modicum of mint frost on the devices front and back, well within that needed for a Cameo designation. The silver-white surfaces are otherwise untoned, save for a light tinge of golden patina near the rims, further emphasizing the excellent field-device contrast. This is one of the finer survivors from the original proof complement of 670 pieces struck. Census: 6 in 66 Cameo (1 in 66+, 1 in 66 ), 6 finer (7/16).
