Rare 1904 Quarter, PR67
1904 25C PR67 NGC. This piece deserves a Cameo designation, in our opinion, as it displays fully brilliant silver surfaces and excellent contrast. This piece and others like it were discouraged at the Mint, it being the feeling of Mint officers that cameo contrast was undesirable. Of course that has all changed now, and cameo or deep cameo contrast is the pinnacle of numismatics.
