    1904 25C PR67 PCGS. Impressive proof surfaces are visible through the speckled gold and iridescent toning of this Premium Gem proof. The obverse is mostly enveloped by the patina, while the obverse shows the colors concentrated over the left-hand side, leaving the remainder brilliant. Atypical field-to-device contrast is evident upon close inspection. This proof issue is seldom seen in Superb Gem condition. Population: 11 in 67, 1 finer (9/15).(Registry values: N2998)
