Description
1904 Quarter, Colorful PR68
A Proof of Nearly Unimprovable Quality
1904 25C PR68 NGC. Dappled shades of green and lilac toning
color the pristine surfaces of this delightful Barber quarter with
intermittent orange, russet, and ice-blue hues. The design elements
are typically razor-sharp, and the fields are deeply reflective
beneath the patina. From a tiny proof mintage of 670 pieces. It is
virtually impossible to fathom a finer representative, yet NGC
shows a single submission in PR69. Census: 5 in 68 (1 in 68
★ ), 1 finer (4/15).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 242K, PCGS# 5690, GSID# 5498)
