    Description

    Penultimate Quality 1904 Quarter, PR69

1904 25C PR69 NGC. Certified just one point below perfection and one of just 26 Barber quarters of any date to be graded so fine. Apparently a recent submission, it has yet to actually appear on the NGC Census report. Destined for the finest date or type collection.
A splendid cameo proof with impeccable surfaces, deep mirrored fields, and highly lustrous devices, all beneath amazing gold and olive toning, with additional deeper steel-blue on the reverse. Faint die polishing lines at the top of Liberty's neck are seen on every survivor from the mintage of 670 coins.(Registry values: N7079)

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 242K, PCGS# 5690)

    Weight: 6.25 grams
