Description

1905 25C PR67 PCGS. Collectors seeking old-time patina will find much to appreciate about this Superb Gem proof, which displays original proof set toning in primarily lavender-green and rose-gold hues, with accents of deep blue-gray. Strike sharpness prevails throughout the border stars and interior details, including on the usually weak eagle's talons and right (facing) wing junction. The nearly flawless preservation only adds to the visual presentation. Population: 15 in 67 (4 in 67+), 4 finer (3/24).(Registry values: N2998)
