    Beautifully Toned 1907 Quarter, PR68 NGC

    1907 25C PR68 NGC. Very deeply toned, both sides exhibit electric-green, purple-red, and golden-brown toning, with lighter golden-gray colors near the centers. As would be expected from the grade, the surfaces are deeply reflective and essentially flawless. The design elements are boldly struck, with no areas displaying signs of weakness. Only 575 proofs were struck, a low mintage number even for a Barber Quarter issue. Population: 10 in 68, 0 finer (12/04).(#5693) (Registry values: N4719)
