    Description

Beautifully Toned and Superb 1910 Proof Barber Quarter

1910 25C PR68 NGC. Sparkling fields and razor sharp striking definition are fully appreciable beneath rich toning that is mostly antique-copper in shade. There are, however, other, more vibrant colors on both sides. Blue and champagne tinting adorns Liberty's portrait on the obverse, and, while the former color is seen on the reverse eagle, the latter is noted along the right periphery on that side. A simply beautiful specimen to behold, the technical quality of the surfaces is expectantly solid for the PR68 level of preservation. This coin would make an attractive addition to a certified proof type set that highlights originality as well as technical grade. Population: 7 in 68, 0 finer (11/02).
