    Description

Superb Ultra Cameo Proof 1911 Quarter

1911 25C PR67 Ultra Cameo NGC. A razor-sharp specimen with gorgeously preserved surfaces. The white on black contrast is impressive, as this untoned Superb Gem has fully frosted devices. A tiny angling scratch behind Liberty's cap above the ribbon serves as a pedigree marker. Mintages of proof Barber coinage gradually diminished as the series progressed. Only 543 pieces were struck, which is the third lowest production of the type. Census: 1 in 67 Ultra Cameo, 2 finer (7/06).(Registry values: P1)

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 242T, PCGS# 95697)

    Weight: 6.25 grams

    Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
