    Description

    1912 Quarter, PR66 Cameo
    Remarkably Deep Mirroring

1912 25C PR66 Cameo PCGS. Though revised Mint processes for producing proof coins reduced the number of specimens made with cameo contrast, a few such examples still left the Mint each year. This black-on-white representative displays moderate frost on the devices, with seemingly infinite depth in the mirrored fields. Just a trace of golden color is seen around the margins, and the surfaces are carefully preserved. Population: 6 in 66 Cameo, 8 finer (4/14).
Ex: FUN Signature (Heritage, 7/2007), lot 781.
From The Brian Loncar Collection, Part II.(Registry values: N2998)

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 242U, PCGS# 85698)

    Weight: 6.25 grams

    Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper

The marketing was exceptional from the photos to the ads in Civil War Times and North South Trader for the cross over people!!! I have had many emails from my Civil War collecting fraternity that saw these and I saw them at the national show in Nashville/Franklin in early December.
