    1912 Quarter, PR68
    Iridescent Multicolored Toning

1912 25C PR68 PCGS. CAC. Even though it was approaching the series' end, the 1912 proof Barber quarter production saw quite a spike, to 700 coins versus 543 in 1911. This Superb Gem 1912 is one of only two such submissions at PCGS, and there are none finer (6/13). Fabulous iridescent multicolored toning swirls around the surfaces on each side, and there are no impairments visible, large or small, on this essentially perfect coin. A prize for the toning enthusiasts as well as series specialists.
