    Description

    Superb 1913 Quarter PR67 Cameo

1913 25C PR67 Cameo PCGS. Ex: Bruce Scher. A flashy Superb Gem with just a hint of golden patina across the lower third of the obverse. The deeply mirrored fields are all but void of distracting marks or hairlines. Suitably frosty devices provide good contrast. One of 613 proofs struck in this much lower mintage year and, as one approaches the Superb category, the known population markedly thins out. Bruce Scher owned the #1 all-time finest PCGS Registry of proof Barber quarters. Population: 4 in 67, 0 finer (12/06).(Registry values: N2998)

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 242V, PCGS# 85699)

    Weight: 6.25 grams

    Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
