    Description

    1913 Quarter Dollar, PR67+
    Conditionally Rare

1913 25C PR67+ NGC. Ex: Eric P. Newman Collection. Modest field-motif contrast shows on this high-end Superb Gem. Whispers of gold-brown concentrate at the borders, while Liberty's cap assumes multicolored toning. The design elements are solidly struck and close examination reveals no mentionable marks. From a relatively small mintage of 613 pieces, the 1913 proof quarter is notably rare in the higher numerical grades, and this is the sole coin with the NGC Plus designation at the grade level. Census: 16 in 67 (1 in 67+), 5 finer (1/15).(Registry values: N2998)

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 242V, PCGS# 5699)

    Weight: 6.25 grams

    Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
