Description
1914 Barber Quarter, PR67
Lowest-Mintage Proof of the Series
1914 25C PR67 NGC. The 1914 Barber quarter has the
distinction of being the lowest-mintage issue in the entire series,
and the present coin has few peers and fewer betters. The
gold-tinged silver-white surfaces show moderate contrast but
excellent eye appeal, with deeply mirrored fields on both sides and
the mint frost a tad thicker on the reverse. NGC has seen 10
numerically finer submissions (5/11).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 242W, PCGS# 5700, GSID# 5527)
