    Description

    1915 Barber Quarter, PR67
    Subtle Field-Device Contrast

1915 25C PR67 NGC. Proof quarter production amounted to only 450 pieces in the final year of the type, reflecting the rather minimal collector demand for special examples of the Barber design. This Superb Gem is among the finer-known survivors, even though olive and rose-gold toning precludes a Cameo designation. The strike is bold and each side shows modest contrast, accentuated by the rich patina. Census: 15 in 67 (2 in 67 ), 5 finer (6/15).(Registry values: N2998)

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 242X, PCGS# 5701)

    Weight: 6.25 grams

    Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
