Description

Superb, Beautifully Toned Proof 1915 Barber Quarter

1915 25C PR67 NGC. The 1915 is the penultimate date in the Barber quarter series. It also has the lowest mintage of all the proofs with only 450 pieces struck. Available in PR60-65 grades, the 1915 is very seldom located in better-than-Gem grades. Only 13 other PR67 coins have been certified by NGC with a mere three finer according to the November NGC Census Report. This is a fabulously toned proof whose deeply reflective mirrors enhance the multicolored toning even more. Beautiful pastel colors are streaked over each side, and when the surfaces are viewed closely no obvious or distracting contact marks are apparent. Population: 14 in 67, 3 finer (11/04).(#5701) (Registry values: N2998)
