1915 Barber Quarter, Toned PR67
Impeccable Strike and Preservation
1915 25C PR67 PCGS. The 1915 Barber quarter is the last
proof entry in the series, as none were struck in 1916. The
last-year Barber silver proof sets were produced to the extent of
450 coins each -- including the dime, quarter, and half dollar --
but this PCGS-certified Superb Gem is one of only 10 so graded by
that service with just two finer (4/13). The surfaces show
impeccable preservation, as expected, and the moderate patina on
each side includes generous gold centers with ice-blue, pink, and
violet accents. Fully struck throughout and a marvelous finale for
the series enthusiast.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 242X, PCGS# 5701, GSID# 5530)
