1841 Half Cent, PR65 Brown
Lovely Original Striking

1841 1/2 C Original, B-1, R.5, PR65 Brown NGC. Identified as an original striking by the large berries on the reverse. Approximately 20 to 30 examples still exist, some low grade or impaired. This is a fully struck Gem showing lovely iridescent hues of apple-green, lilac, and gold as the coin rotates beneath a light. The surfaces are well-preserved, and a small contact mark in the field area due southwest of obverse star 11 is the only potential pedigree marker. Our EAC grade PR60. Census: 6 in 65 Brown, 1 finer (4/14).(Registry values: P2)
