    1854 1/2 C PR65 Red and Brown NGC. B-2, Low R.6. Light pinkish-orange mint color with traces of blue toning on the obverse. The reverse has deep brown color with bluish overtones. Both sides have extremely sharp design features with reflective fields. Among the proof half cents from the 1850s, this is a scarce issue, and it is more elusive than the 1852 proof-only issue, for example. EAC PR60.(Registry values: P4) (NGC ID# 26ZV, PCGS# 1324)
