Description
1913 Type One PR 66 PCGS. A boldly struck gem, showing every detail in its finest form. Both sides display a light layer of multi colored, pastel iridescence, with more color appearing on the reverse than on the obverse. The underlying surfaces are bright and lustrous, with less graininess and matte surfaces than are normally seen. This is an important coin not only for its high quality, but for its status as the first year of the new type and the first year of the new matte proof experiment in nickel coinage.
