1913 Matte Proof Buffalo Nickel, PR66
Single-Year Type One Design

1913 5C Type One PR66 PCGS Secure. CAC. Only 1,520 matte proof Buffalo nickels were struck in 1913. Type collectors are extremely fond of this issue, as it represents the first year of the Buffalo design and the only year with the mound on the reverse. A lovely Premium Gem example, this coin displays attractive toning in shades of yellow and gold. The strike is sharp, adding to the appeal.(Registry values: N2998)
