Exceptional Eye Appeal
1913 5C Type Two PR66 PCGS. CAC. According to the
Complete Guide to Buffalo Nickels, "It's almost a certainty
that many of the proofs struck [1,514 pieces] remained unsold at
the end of the year and were melted." The same reference adds that
many survivors are unattractive, but thankfully this Premium Gem
proof is an exception. Marvelous golden-orange patina graces the
