1913 Type Two Buffalo Nickel, PR66
Ex: Eliasberg

1913 5C Type Two PR66 PCGS. CAC. The matte proof 1913 Type Two Buffalo nickel claims a mintage of 1,514 pieces. Collectors prize the matte proof issues today, but they were less popular with collectors of the early 20th century, and many examples were not saved. The present coin is a magnificent Premium Gem specimen with an illustrious pedigree. The coin is fully struck and exhibits pleasing chestnut-gold and lavender toning. One tiny spot is located beneath the chin. Housed in a green label holder.
