1913 Type Two Nickel, PR67
Golden Patina With Iridescent Accents

1913 5C Type Two PR67 PCGS. Type Two proofs from this first year of issue were struck to the extent of 1,514 coins. The surfaces of this Superb Gem representative show golden patina at first glance, but iridescent accents appear when the coin is rotated, including peach-orange, rose, sky-blue, and mint green. Finely textured fields and a full strike are expected but no less appealing. PCGS reports 11 finer submissions (3/20).(Registry values: N2998)
