Description
1915 5C PR64 PCGS. There were only a handful of proof Buffalo nickel issues, and the mintages for all of them were stingy, by modern standards. Just 1,050 pieces were struck in 1915, an amazingly small number considering the huge popularity of this series with collectors. This specimen has a typically satiny appearance, with boldly struck devices and light olive, steel-green, and gold toning. A lovely near-Gem proof, with distraction-free surfaces.(Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 278U, PCGS# 3992, GSID# 3153)
