Satiny Gem Proof 1915 Nickel
1915 5C PR65 PCGS. At first glance, this Gem proof looks just like a business strike, but the full design features confirm its proof status. Although called a matte proof in the literature, the surfaces have brilliant satin luster, more closely resembling the 1936 satin proof nickels. Both sides are graced by light gold toning.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 278U, PCGS# 3992, GSID# 3153)
