Gem Proof 1915 Buffalo Nickel
1915 5C PR66 NGC. Expectantly sharp for the issue, this high quality specimen is needle sharp from rim to rim. There is some original, moderate intensity, lilac, deep gold, and ice-blue patina over both sides, all features of which are free of bothersome handling marks. A few scattered carbon speckles are mentioned for accuracy. The 1915 is somewhat more difficult to locate than the 1914, but it is still among the more frequently offered dates in the proof Buffalo Nickel series of 1913-1916.From The Clifford Columbus Collection.(#3992) (Registry values: N1793)
