Description

Well Preserved 1915 Buffalo Nickel, PR66

1915 5C PR66 PCGS. Just 1,050 pieces were struck this year, in the penultimate early proof Buffalo nickel issue before proof coinage was halted at the U.S. Mint in 1916. This piece is sharply struck, as expected, with untoned silver-gray surfaces that have a bright, satiny sheen. The fields are non-reflective, as usual for the type, and there are no grade-limiting marks or hairlines on either side. (Registry values: N1793)
