Gem Proof 1916 Buffalo Nickel
Lowest Buffalo Proof Mintage
1916 5C PR65 PCGS. The 1916 had the lowest mintage (600
pieces) of any proof Buffalo nickel. Peppered purple toning with
wafts of pink and gold enhance the surfaces of this appealing Gem.
Both sides appear devoid of any contact marks, even under
magnification. The strike is penetrating, as one would
