Description

PCGS 1937 PR 69. Words are simply inadequate to convey the beauty of this coin. We could throw a book of adjectives at it--superb, phenomenal, outstanding, mesmerizing, etc.--and still not do it justice. The one word that perhaps best describes this incredible coin is: perfect. Not only is it perfect in the technical sense of showing no contact marks, but the color is perfect as well. And it is not just that the coin is toned, as most proof Buffaloes are toned, it is that it has "perfect" toning. The lilac and blue centers are surrounded by a thin ring of rainbow iridescence at the margins. An absolutely breathtaking coin and the only one to have been so graded by either of the major certification services.
