Attractively Toned 1937 Buffalo Nickel in PR67
1937 5C PR67 NGC. An unquestionably original proof, both sides exhibit slate-gray patina in the centers with sandy-gold peripheral halos. We note, however, that these colors are only readily evident at indirect angles, as the surfaces reveal impressive ice-blue, crimson-orange, and golden target toning when well illuminated. A coin that belongs in a collection of colorful Superb Gems. From the Alex Highland Collection.
