Description

1834 C-1 Half Cent, PR66 Brown
Multicolor Patina

1834 1/2 C PR66 Brown NGC. C-1, B-1, R.6 as proof. The only dies for both proofs and business strikes. Exquisite jade-green, ocean-blue, and plum-red undertones emerge when this patinated half cent is rotated beneath a light. A needle-sharp impression and exceptional preservation further ensure remarkable eye appeal. A loupe reveals a tiny vertical lamination between the ER in LIBERTY but there are no visible post-strike imperfections.
