1976-S Clad Type Two Ike, PR70 Deep Cameo
Registry Set Essential
1976-S $1 Clad, Type Two PR70 Deep Cameo PCGS. The clad
1976-S Ike dollar proofs were made in both the bold-lettering,
low-relief Type One style and the delicate-lettering,
sharper-relief style of the Type Two coins, while the silver 1976-S
proof Ikes were of the Type One variety only. Both clad types are
extremely common in PR69DCAM grade, but this Type Two in PR70DCAM
PCGS grade is one of only 16 to achieve this ultimate level at PCGS
(6/15). The surfaces are problem-free as expected, with just an
extremely pale hint of gold that is nearly subliminal. An essential
