Impressive 1856 Snow-9 Flying Eagle Cent, PR64
1856 1C PR64 PCGS. CAC. Snow-9, a proof-only variety. The green label PCGS holder that houses this coin identifies it as a Choice proof, and it exhibits exceptional workmanship. The surfaces are nicely mirrored, finer than usual for the 1856 Flying Eagle cents, and the strike is bold with every detail sharp and crisp. Both sides have delightful light tan surfaces with wonderful iridescent toning. Only a few minuscule spots or flecks are evident on each side, and abrasions are entirely absent.
